RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Folk Festival brought music, food, crafts and more to the bank of the James River this weekend. The festival kicked off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9 and runs through 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11. The free event brought 30 performers across a variety of genres to several stages in Richmond, from Allianz Amphitheater to Brown's Island and more. "It's always a great time to come down here; there's lots of different people," one festival goer said. "I don't know that I've missed a year."
