Firefighters were busy early Sunday, officials said, as a fire erupted in a rowhome in the Fairhill section of North Philadelphia. According to fire officials, crews were dispatched at about 3:34 a.m. to a report of a fire at a rowhome along the 3300 block of D Street in Fairhill. At the sce ne, firefighters could be seen moving ladders against the two-story rowhome to access windows with visible fire damage, as crew members inside the home moved through the property pulling a hose into the home. Officials did not immediately detail the extent of the damages and did not say if anyone was injured in this incident. But, an investigation is underway into the cause of the fire.
