INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A lot of the remnant rain from Isaias has pivoted to our south but a few showers cant be ruled out across southern Indiana today. Record highs possible tomorrow.
TODAY:
Most are waking up to cloudy skies as a majority of the r
emnant rain from Isaias has impacted states to our south and east yesterday into this morning. A few showers are possible along the Ohio River in southeast Indiana, but that’s about it for rain today.
The morning will be cloudy with a very slow clearing trend in the clouds in the afternoon. Highs will be warmest out west in the upper 70s, mid 70s from central Indiana and coolest in eastern Indiana with highs in the upper 60s. It will feel a touch humid also.
TONIGHT:
Mostly clear and warm with lows making it to the mid 50s.
TOMORROW:
A breezy south wind warms temperatures into the mid and upper 80s to open the new week under mostly sunny skies. These represent near or potentially new record highs. It will be a touch humid once again.
TUESDAY: A weak trough of low pressure will spark a few showers in northern Indiana Tuesday morning, but most will see a mix of sun clouds and another day with near or new record highs in the mid to upper 80s.
7 DAY FORECAST: The pattern will turn unsettled Wednesday-Friday AM with a few waves of scattered showers. The first arrives Wednesday PM and evening followed by the second Thursday late into Friday morning. Once this front clear, it will be a windy Friday and we could cool all the way down to enter in a frost or freeze concern over the weekend!
