SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — On Friday, foggy conditions blocked the Blue Angels from carrying out their full scheduled show, but weather conditions are looking promising for San Franciscans hoping to catch a glimpse of the Fleet Week Air Show on Saturday. The U.S. Navy close formation demonstration s quadron is back this year after being grounded due to a government shutdown 12 months ago. Fleet Week Air Show schedule released This year, the Blue Angels, along with the rest of the U.S. military contingent, are scheduled to again take part in the Fleet Week Air Show. Friday’s Air Show got underway as expected, kicking off around noon with a low and slow circle of the Bay from a massive United 777. The Blue Angels did fly on Friday, but stopped mid-show due to foggy conditions across the city.
