FISHERS, Ind. — A nine-piece furniture collection created in collaboration with Xbox for gaming in the home will be introduced at Ikea in Fishers on Saturday and Sunday. The collection called YXSTABY, inspired by a small locality in Sweden, includes the four letter buttons from an Xbox cont roller: X, Y, B, and A. The store will celebrate the launch with a public event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 11400 Ikea Way in Fishers. That’s northeast of the I-69 interchange for 106th Street. The weekend celebration will include several family-friendly activities: Gaming trivia: Customers can show off their creativity and come dressed as their favorite gaming characters to receive small prizes. Scavenger hunt: Visitors can search the Ikea showroom for a Spartan supersoldier from the Halo video game for a chance to win a surprise prize. Giveaways: While supplies last, members of the store’s free rewards program, Ikea Family, can receive a limited-edition “Ikea x Xbox” tote bag and a collectible bag charm. YXSTABY Bistro Box: For $10, the store’s bistro will offer a meal including two hot dogs or veggie dogs, chips, a cinnamon bun, candy and a refillable YXSTABY collectible cup.
