UNION CO., N.C. – A California man is behind bars in Union County, accused of traveling across the country to have sex with a 15-year-old girl. Union County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 24-year-old Daniel Castillo at Dogwood Park in Wesley Chapel on Monday. They credit a tip from a citizen, wh o saw something that just seemed off and called 911. At first, deputies charged him with giving the teen alcohol and a vape. After more detective work, they uncovered that the teen and Castillo met on Snapchat months earlier, and he traveled to Union County to meet her for sex.
