(KRON) -- Morgan Hill Police Department officers were busy this week keeping up with drivers behaving badly in their South Bay city. "Morgan Hill roads were apparently auditioning for a reality show," the police department wrote on Facebook Tuesday.
MHPD listed the following October traffic inciden
ts:
At Watsonville Road and Monterey Road, an allegedly drunk driver was spotted performing donuts in the intersection. "The grown adult driver admitted to the donuts. One teensy-weensy problem: BAC: .30%. That’s not glazed. That’s absolutely frosted," MHPD wrote.
A driver reported crashing into a wild boar with her company vehicle on East Dunne Avenue.
Also on East Dunne Avenue, a driver with a suspended license, an outstanding warrant, and nine dogs was stopped by officers. Officers removed all of the dogs from the vehicle before it was towed. "At some point, a traffic stop becomes an episode of Paw Patrol," MHPD wrote.
An officer spotted a wrong-way driver traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Monterey Road. The driver was stopped and arrested on suspicion of DUI, police said.
Mother charged after missing Monterey County girl rescued in Mexico
On Monterey Road near East Dunne Avenue, a woman "passed out behind the wheel" before her car went over a curb and crashed into a tree. Her BAC was 0.433% and she was transported to the hospital. "We’ll give you a moment to reread that. .433%. That number isn’t funny. It’s terrifying," MHPD wrote.
Two more suspected drunk drivers were separately arrested on Tennant Avenue near Vineyard Boulevard, and Church Street near Edmundson Avenue.
Morgan Hill police officials warned, "DUIs are preventable. Drive sober, Morgan Hill. We’d much rather meet you under less ridiculous circumstances."
