Credit: Courtesy of Heber Valley Rotary Club Heber Valley Rotary Club will host a candidate debate forum from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the Wasatch Fire District St ation 51, 251 East 1200 South in Heber City. Attendees will hear directly from sheriff candidates Jeremy Hales and Paul Moore and county attorney candidates Jon Woodard and Lauren Forsyth as they discuss the issues, responsibilities and priorities facing Wasatch County. Joshua Jewkes, an attorney with Gordon Law Group, will moderate. Those with questions for the candidates can submit them in advance via email to [email protected] and during the forum itself. Rotary will review and select questions to help ensure a fair, respectful discussion and avoid duplicate questions, the organization said. The event is nonpartisan and open to the public.
