A pair of vegetation fires burned three acres of land near Imperial Ave. and Market St. Sunday, and threatened structures near Lincoln Park, according to an X post from San Diego Fire Department. There were no structures damaged but multiple vehicles were damaged behind a business, according to a n X post from SDFD. The fires caused multiple road closures in the surrounding area, SDFD advised to avoid the area in an X post. A fire near Imperial Avenue and Market Street burned multiple vehicles. (NBC 7 San Diego) The tracks between the Massachusetts and Euclid Trolley stations were closed due to a nearby fire. SDFD helicopters dropped water alongside ground crews, according to an X post from SDFD. One fire was bigger than the other. One spanned about two acres and the other about one, for a total of about three acres burned by both fires, according to SDFD. Crews will remain on scene near Imperial and Market St after stopping a pair of vegetation fires covering three acres that threatened structures near Lincoln Park.
