A woman died on the Grand Central Parkway after a car crash ejected her onto the road Sunday morning, according to the NYPD. The driver of a gray Honda Accord was heading westbound on the Queens parkway when his car overturned after hitting a wall and light pole, police said. It wasn’t immedia tely clear what initially caused him to crash into the wall around 4 a.m. According to police, the 23-year-old woman riding in the rear passenger seat was thrown out of the Honda. Medics transported her to Elmhurst Hospital but she did not survive. Officers took the 34-year-old driver into custody.
