Hit-and-miss showers and a few thunderstorms will continue Saturday night and into the day on Sunday. After a weak front moves through, we will turn much drier and more pleasant next week.Tonight Tomorrow:nbsp;Showers and storms will remain possible in the overnight hours but it will not be a cons tant rain. Lows will be muggy, near 73deg;. Although the PM hours will be favored for shower activity, rain will still be possible in the AM hours on Sunday. Just like the overnight hours, it will not be a constant rain, and you will find a decent amount of dry time. Thanks to the rain and clouds, highs will be limited to near 83deg;. As a weak front works its way north to south across the area in the evening, it will bring in drier air. This will cause drier conditions into next week. In total, we can expect up to about 1" of remaining rainfall. Areas south and east of the Baton Rouge area could see a little higher.nbsp;Up Next: Northerly post-frontal winds will bring in drier air throughout the day on Monday. While a few showers will be possible, most will stay dry. Through Thursday, expect a lot more sunshine, mainly dry conditions, and even more pleasant air. Highs will still be warm in the upper 80s, but lows will reach down into the 60s.
