A former Celina ISD student, who is a juvenile, was arrested and taken into custody for allegedly obtaining pornographic images of children online, Celina police announced. Detectives discovered four additional images that were taken by the student in a locker room at Celina High School during th e 2025–2026 school year and involved a total of six students. The photos resulted in six counts of Invasive Visual Recording (Photography), a state jail felony. Celina ISD said it has fully cooperated with the Celina Police Department throughout the investigation, assisted investigators as needed, and complied with all reporting obligations in connection with the event. The Celina Police Department’s investigation has identified no evidence that additional individuals were involved in this criminal activity, including past or present Celina ISD personnel.
