(KRON) -- It’s almost Halloween, and many people are starting to think about their costumes. To help with some dress-up inspiration, we did some digging and looked at the trending costumes based on Google search data from the Bay Area.
Here's what we found trending in 2026:

Dungeon Crawler Carl Costume
Dungeon Crawler Carl is the main character from a currently popular LitRPG (Literary Role Playing Game) book with the same name written by Matt Dinniman. Carl is a Coast Guard vet, surviving the apocalypse and apparently doing it in style.

Powerpuff Girls Costume
This is the late 90s animated Cartoon Network hit featuring Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup - three children with super powers who have dedicated their life to fighting evil -- of course the girls were created thanks to Professor Utonium accidentally adding chemical X to his sugar, spice and everything nice recipe while trying to create the perfect little girl.

Cher Halloween Costume / Clueless Halloween Costume
Cher is the main character from the 1995 cult classic Clueless played by Alicia Silverstone -- raising the question for those not wearing this costume: do you prefer fashion victim or ensemble-y challenged?

Mad Hatter Costume
The famous character from Disney's "Alice in Wonderland," or if you're more of a book fan, you'll better know him from "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll which came about 100 years before the movie.

Dolls Kill is not actually a single costume, but an online boutique that describes itself as featuring "rebellious spirit and attitude mixed with a bit of punk rock, goth, glam and festival fashion. This iconic costume is from the Quentin Tarantino martial arts film 'Kill Bill' -- the main character, The Bride, is a former assassin who goes on a wild revenge quest against Bill. The sword may or may not be sold separately.
