An argument apparently sparked a 63-year-old man to fatally shoot his older sister Wednesday afternoon in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, according to Chicago police report. The unidentified 63-year-old assailant was arguing with Dorothy Washington, his sister, inside a residence in the 1900 block of West 83rd Street at 3:18 p.m., when he allegedly shot her in chest, said a police report obtained by the Sun-Times. A sibling of the two was on the scene and spoke to police, the report said. Washington, of the 1900 block of West 83rd Street, was pronounced dead at 3:25 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
