(KRON) -- The driver of a minivan who crashed into several other vehicles in East Palo Alto Tuesday was pronounced deceased at the scene, authorities said. His passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and she later died at the hospital. The man and woman who died in the crash were identified We dnesday as Bobby McGee, 69, of Menlo Park, and Carolyn Cupil, 63, of Belmont. The multi-vehicle collision occurred around 8:20 a.m. at the intersection of Bay Road and University Avenue. The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office and East Palo Alto Police Department responded to the scene and learned through witnesses and evidence that the minivan struck six vehicles and came to a rest on Bay Road.
