RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A 21-year-old man was arrested late Tuesday night after an employee at a Richmond business was found shot and killed Saturday morning.
According to the Richmond Police Department, officers were called to a business in the 4200 block of North Avenue around 5:30 a.m. on Saturd
ay, Sept. 26, after a person saw someone down inside.
When officers arrived, they found Abidine Boye, a 30-year-old employee, down and unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
Police on Tuesday also shared two public photos of the suspect they believed was connected to the deadly shooting.

With help from the U.S. Marshals Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, detectives with the Richmond Police Department arrested 21-year-old Justin Regis of Richmond the evening of Tuesday, Sept. 29, without incident.
He has been charged with armed robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Additional charges may be pending.
In a statement, Richmond Police Department Chief Rick Edwards thanked the community for tips and information that led to Regis' arrest.

I want to personally thank the members of our community who came forward with critical information that helped our detectives identify and locate the suspect. Our detectives acted swiftly and professionally, following up on those tips and locating and arresting the suspect without incident within hours. We are grateful for the community’s trust and its commitment to making Richmond safer.”
