Cayce Police make arrest related to string of motorvehicle breakins

CAYCE, S.C. (WOLO)– A man was arrested in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins, say police.
Cayce Police say between September 16, 2026, and September 28, 2026, multiple vehicle break-ins were reported across Northland Drive, Maple Street, Bradley Court and apartment parking lots on Knox A
bbott Drive.
Additionally, police say these crimes occurred during the night-time and were specifically targeting vehicles which were left unlocked or easily accessible.
Investigators worked with the help of surveillance footage submitted by community members to identify and locate the suspect alleged to have committed the crimes.
On Tuesday, September 29, Nicholas Omari Milton, of Cayce, was charged with 4 counts of breaking into motor vehicles.
CPD reminds people to remember to lock your vehicle doors, roll up your windows, and remove all valuables from plain sight.
