There’s a new show coming to Las Vegas, and it’s none other than John Mayer Live at Sphere! The 48-year-old Grammy winner announced Monday that he will perform a series of six shows at the venue next year. When is John Mayer performing at the Sphere? The “guitar hero” will perform a t the Sphere in April 2027. The dates are: April 8, 10, 11, 15, 17 and 18. Mayer will be performing solo, with a full band, and with the John Mayer Trio, featuring Steve Jordan on drums and Pino Palladino on bass. The three of them haven’t played together since 2023, when they performed at Love Rocks NYC and the Crossroads Guitar Festival. It’s not the first time Mayer has played at the venue. In 2024, he performed with Dead Company, when they had their Dead Forever residency, and returned in 2025 to play again with the band again. The shows will feature Sphere’s next-generation technologies, which include the “world’s highest-resolution LED display,” creating the immersive visual environment Sphere is known for, according to a press release. A way for Mayer to give back The shows will also support charitable causes. Tickets will be auctioned off to support his nonprofit, Heart Armor Foundation, which focuses on veterans’ health. Also, $1 from each ticket sold will go to his other organization, the Back To You Fund, which supports many charities, including programs for at-risk youth and people experiencing homelessness.
