LIVINGSTON PARISH mdash; Two boats collided head-on on the Amite River, leaving one person in critical condition, according to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. on Sunday.One boat, occupied by a husband and wife, was heading upstream as another b oat, occupied by a man, was coming downstream when they hit each other head-on.The woman was airlifted to a Baton Rouge hospital with severe injuries and remains in critical condition. Her husband did not need medical treatment.nbsp;The man driving the other boat was thrown from the vessel, but was wearing a kill switch and life jacket.
