Two earthquakes, with magnitudes of 3.3 and 2.6, struck Northern California on Sunday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey. The first earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.3, hit at 7:21 a.m. and was centered about 20 miles east of Alum Rock, the USGS said. The second earthqua ke, with a magnitude of 2.6, hit at 7:40 a.m. and was centered around the same area, according to the USGS.
