A man died after he was stabbed in the chest early Sunday in Philadelphia, police said. According to the Philadelphia Police Department, officers responded to the 200 block of West Lehigh Avenue at about 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, after receiving a report of a stabbing. When officers arriv ed, police said they found a man suffering from a single stab wound to his chest. Medics transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 4:14 a.m.., according to police. Police said the investigation remained active and ongoing.
