A new underpass beneath Newtown Pike on the Legacy Trail is now open in Lexington, giving pedestrians and cyclists a safer route through one of the path's busiest crossings.The 12-mile trail runs from downtown Lexington to the K entucky Horse Park.As crews finish roadway improvements, the crossing at Citation Boulevard is temporarily closed.
