RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The 23rd annual Richmond VegFest came to Byrd Park on Saturday for an afternoon of vegan food vendors, musical performances and cooking demonstrations. The festival runs on from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Byrd Park, bringing together 120 vendors, according to Ri chmond VegFest Lead Coordinator Amanda Trenchard. "Over half of our vendors are food vendors, so definitely come hungry," Trenchard said. The festival is completely organized and run by volunteers and has continued to grow each year, she said.
