A man is dead after being struck by a FedEx semi-truck while walking on Interstate 25 early Saturday morning.A semi struck the person around 4:53 a.m. Trooper Sherri Mendez told Denver7.Preliminary reports indicate the male pede strian was traveling northbound in the center of the southbound right lane when a FedEx truck, also traveling in that lane, struck him, CSP said in a press release.The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.The Weld County Coroner will release his identity once next of kin has been notified.The FedEx truck's driver, a 35-year-old man, was not injured.
