The recent Nation and World report, “AI and satellites help rebuild sandy beaches in the Maldives,” was a great read (Star-Advertiser, Sept. 20). The successful project doubled the beach size and attracted coral, fish and other marine wildlife. The research team can now predict future erosion an d develop a plan to address it within a day.
