(BCN) -- A three-alarm fire early Friday morning left four people injured and displaced about 100 residents at an apartment building in Oakland, according to the city's fire chief. The fire was reported at 12:43 a.m. at 5142 Bancroft Ave., a four-story building with 21 units, Fire Chief Damon Coving ton said in a video posted on the Oakland Fire Department's Facebook page. Starbucks closures to impact at least 13 Bay Area stores Covington said four occupants suffered various injuries in the fire, which prompted rescues on multiple floors of the building. About 100 people had to evacuate from the building and Covington said a temporary shelter was being set up to help the displaced residents. "Crews did an amazing job of getting everyone out of the building," he said. Fire officials were not immediately available to provide more details about the fire.
