PLAQUEMINE mdash; The Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the community to shine blue lights at their homes throughout October to honor Deputy Charles Riley.The sheriff's office said it made a pledge to never forget Riley and is carrying that out with the monthlong tribute. Blue lights at h omes across the area are meant to honor his life, service and sacrifice.A limited number of blue light bulbs are available for anyone who wants to take part.
