A shelter-in-place was ordered in Oswego after shots were fired inside a home during a welfare check early Friday. A police presence was heavy where the incident happened in the 500 block of Colchester Drive and a shelter-in-place was ordered within a quarter mile around the area, according to the O swego police department. Officers responded to the area for a welfare check when a firearm was discharged inside a home, officials said.
