(KRON) -- A juvenile was hospitalized following a vehicle collision Thursday, according to the Walnut Creek Police Department. Walnut Creek police said they were notified at 3:43 p.m. of a vehicle versus pedestrian incident in the 1900 block of Tice Valley Boulevard. Officers arrived at the scene a nd discovered an injured juvenile, who was taken by medics to a nearby hospital. The victim's condition or extent of injuries were not provided by officials. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to police. The roadway has since been cleared.
