A Wasatch County school bus collided with a semi-truck on Monday afternoon after the bus driver allegedly failed to see oncoming traffic after crossing U.S. 40 at milepost 14.  There were four children on board at the time of the accident. None were injured, according to Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Zach Randall. Two adults were also on the bus and one was transported to receive medical care in “good condition.” The four students involved in the crash were released to their parents, according to a statement from the Wasatch County School District. “The safety and well-being of our students is always our highest priority, and we are grateful for the care and professionalism of our highly trained transportation staff and those who responded to the scene,” the statement said. Utah Highway Patrol deputies will continue to direct traffic in the area. One lane is open along U.S. 40 in each direction as of 4 p.m. on Monday.
