RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- St. Benedict Catholic Church hosted its 21st annual Oktoberfest this weekend in Richmond's Museum District. The free festival took place at the corner of Hanover and Belmont Avenues from Friday, Sept. 18 to Sunday, Sept. 20. "Our church was actually founded by a lot of Germ an folks and so we felt like would honor their heritage and our heritage by having a big Oktoberfest," said Oktoberfest emcee Ida O'Leary. The festival featured German food, music, dancing and over 50 different beers, according to the event website.
