SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The San Francisco Police Department is asking the public for information following a hit-and-run collision Saturday that severely injured a pedestrian. SFPD said officers responded at 8:18 p.m. to Mission and Park streets and located the injured victim. Police rendered aid t o the victim until medics arrived and took the victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. “The vehicle and driver involved did not remain at the scene,” police said. “We are currently investigating this collision as a hit-and-run.” Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact police at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411, starting the message with “SFPD.” ...read more read less
