Warm temps continue before cooling down next week

(KRON) --The warming trend continues Saturday, with brief cooling Sunday into Monday before warming resumes Tuesday.
Short Term: Sunday morning's low clouds will pull back toward the coast. Afternoon highs will run in the lower to middle 60s along the coast, upper 60s to lower 80s near the bays, an
d 80s to lower 90s inland. Breezy conditions continue, similar to Friday, with gusts of 20 to 30 miles per hour along the coast and through gaps and passes. Dry, gusty winds are possible in the higher terrain of the North Bay and East Bay.
Long Term: On Sunday, cooler air will move in, dropping inland temperatures by 5 to 10 degrees on Sunday and Monday, with highs in the middle 60s to middle 70s near the bays, and the middle 70s to lower 80s inland, warming into the middle 80s to lower 90s in the interior North Bay and Central Coast. On Tuesday, warming will return, and on Wednesday and Thursday, inland highs will climb back into the 90s, bringing a moderate risk of heat-related illness, especially for children, older adults, and anyone working outdoors without enough cooling or hydration.
