RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was seriously hurt after being shot in Richmond's East End Thursday afternoon. Around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 1500 block of North 21st St. for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, t hey found a man with apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. This shooting comes months after a 56-year-old woman was shot and killed in the same block of North 21st St. in late January.
