SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Wednesday is the second day of the Dreamforce convention in San Francisco. Day 2 of the annual conference highlighted hands-on artificial intelligence demonstrations and interactive experiences for thousands of attendees. On the convention floor of the packed event, compani es demonstrated how they integrate AI into daily operations and customer service. The convention floor featured interactive technology displays ranging from creative marketing concepts to practical business applications. Bruna, an attendee visiting from Brazil, shared her experience viewing the technology on display. “I could open my mind, to the technology and you know, it is very interested in all the things I see here,” Bruna said. Hollywood A-list couple dines at San Francisco dim sum spot Companies at the event used creative AI displays to capture attendee attention before introducing their core services. One demonstration featured an AI-powered robot that took photos of attendees and rendered drawn portraits in 30 seconds. The display was hosted by Gainsight, a company that focuses on customer retention. Josh Schachter, a representative for Gainsight, outlined the company's business focus. “We help companies retain their customers, both their most important customers all the way down to their long tail, their SMB and smaller segments,” Schachter said. Nearby on the convention floor, Kiehl's offered an AI-powered face and skin analysis demonstration. The Kiehl's activation provided participants with a personalized assessment, analyzing how their skin will age and highlighting missing steps in their skin care preparation routine. The convention floor drew international visitors from locations including Canada and Brazil. Andria, an attendee visiting from Canada, tested the Kiehl's skin analysis tool. “It's kind of freaky a little bit to see where some of the clogs for is were, but feeling pretty good for my age that I scored above 80,” Andria said.
