(KRON) -- The California Highway Patrol activated a Silver Alert in San Mateo County Tuesday afternoon after an 85-year-old man was reported missing from Redwood City. John Jones was last seen by neighbors in the 200 block of Sequoia Avenue on or around Friday, Sept. 11, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. He was reported missing on Tuesday after his family had not heard from him. The missing man is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.
