Shooting in Wilmington kills teen, leaves boy in critical condition, police say

One teenager is dead and a second is in the hospital after a shooting on Sunday afternoon, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
The shooting happened around 4:09 p.m. on Sept. 13 near the intersection of West 2nd and North DuPont streets in Wilmington, police said.
When officers go
t to the scene, they reported finding an 18-year-old man who they took to a nearby hospital where he later died.
Also at the scene, officers said they found a 15-year-old boy who had been shot and they took him to a nearvy hospital where he was placed in critical condition.
An investigation into this shooting is underway.

This shooting happened less than hour after a 19-year-old was killed in a shooting on West 34th Street in Wilmington, police said.
