Fort Worth residents are invited to get rid of their old electronics at a Frost recycling event provided by Secure On-Site Shredding, Inc. The event will take place at any participating Frost Financial Center over four days, spanning from Sept. 16 to Oct. 2. “The electronic devices will be p roperly recycled in order to keep dangerous materials out of landfills,” Frost said in a press release. “At our electronic recycling events, hard drives and other materials are disabled or destroyed so that no data or personal information can be accessed. ” According to Frost, people are welcome to dispose of small appliances, printers, computers, laptops, VCRs, miscellaneous wires and metal objects. They’ll take basically anything with a plug except old-style cathode ray tube TVs and monitors. Paper products will also not be accepted.
