Breezy winds continue with normal temperatures

(KRON) -- Onshore winds will strengthen Sunday afternoon. Dry offshore winds will move into the higher terrain Sunday night into Monday night. Through the week, temperatures will remain near seasonal averages.
Short Term: Sunday morning's lows: in the upper 40s to 50s. Skies will be mostly clear w
ith patchy low clouds along the San Mateo County coast. Sunday afternoon's highs will run in the lower to middle 60s along the coast, middle 60s to middle 70s near the bays, and middle 70s to lower 80s inland. Strong, gusty winds will develop again this afternoon with widespread gusts of 20 to 30 miles per hour, with up to 40 miles per hour in some coastal spots, and through gaps, passes, and valleys. Winds will diminish late Sunday night.
Long Term: Winds will ease beginning Monday. Temperatures will continue in the near to below normal range through at least the middle of the week. Highs will run in the middle 60s to lower 70s along the coast, lower 70s to lower 80s near the bays, and into the 80s inland. Low clouds will return Monday night into Tuesday, developing each night and morning before clearing out in the afternoon. Late in the week, a slight warming trend will begin.
