RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man has been hospitalized with a life-threatening gunshot wound after a shooting in the 800 block of Edgewood Avenue in Richmond early Sunday morning. According to Richmond Police, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 800 block of Edgewood Avenue at about 12 :15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13. Police said they found a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 8News has reached out to police for more information about this shooting.
