On Saturday, Sept. 12, severe thunderstorms moved into the Central Virginia region, bringing heavy downpours. The following Central Virginia localities are under a flash flood warning until 8:15 p.m. on Saturday: City of Colonial Heights City of Hopewell The following Central Virginia localities are under a flash flood warning until 8:45 p.m.: Chesterfield County Henrico County City of Richmond Charles City County The following Central Virginia localities are under a flash flood warning until 10:15 p.m. on Saturday: Prince George County Sussex County A flash flood warning means that sudden flooding is imminent or already happening in the impacted areas.
