Storms that will bring heavy rain and flash flooding are set to move into the Philadelphia region overnight into Sunday morning. The rain will begin around midnight and get heavier before dawn on Sunday. Some thunderstorms as well as two to three inches of rainfall are possible. Flash fl ooding will be the main concern with the storms into Sunday morning. The rain will then taper off and the sun will return by early Sunday afternoon. While temperatures will begin in the mid-70s they will rise to the mid-80s during the day and feel closer to 90. By the time the Eagles home opener begins, conditions will be sunny and warm. A front will pass early on Monday which will be mostly sunny and feel like fall with highs in the mid to upper 70s. We’ll see similar conditions and temperatures on Tuesday. Wednesday will be mostly sunny as well and a bit warmer. Thursday will be humid with temperatures in the mid to upper 80s with partly cloudy skies. Friday will be cloudy with temperatures in the low to mid 80s and rain returning during the night.
