Courtesy of Connoisseur Media Lincoln.LINCOLN–(KFOR Sept. 11)–Cam Rakowsky scored three touchdowns to help Class A No. 10 Lincoln Southwest defeat Lincoln Southeast 26-23 Friday night in a back-and-forth high school football game at Seacrest Field, and a game heard on KFOR. Southwest’s safety Alex Dawes sealed the victory for the Silver Hawks by intercepting a Gavin Semm pass with 1:12 left in the game.  Southwest took two knees to run out the clock and pick up the win to stay undefeated at 3-0. Rakowsky’s first touchdown came with 4:35 left in the first quarter to cap a 51-yard drive, before Southeast responded with a 7-yard scoring run from senior running back Kadin Logan with 2:08 left in the opening frame.  Two personal foul penalties helped the Knights march down field 52 yards, capped by Semm’s 5-yard touchdown run to put Southeast in front 14-7 with 8:24 left in the first half. Southwest got aided on a big run from Gavin Johnson, which set up Rakowsky’s next scoring run from 13-yards out, but the point after failed and the Silver Hawks trailed 14-13. Rakowsky’s 21-yard touchdown run put Southwest ahead, but the two-point conversion failed, and the Silver Hawks took control with 8:31 left in the third quarter at 19-14. Southeast (1-2) pulled to within two when Carlo Rissetto hit a 24-yard field goal with 2:31 remaining in the third, but Semm found Kamari Quarells-Rupert on a swing pass for 90-yards and a touchdown.  The two-point conversion failed but the Knights were back in control at 23-19 with 11:09 to go in the game. Southwest wasted no time on the ensuing drive and capped the drive with Jase Coke’s 1-yard touchdown run for what turned out to be the game-winning drive with 8:02 remaining.
