  Castle Hills Eatery Welcomes Fall with Wonderful, Delicious Events     Castle Hills Eatery, Clementine, is welcoming September with a full lineup of special events and seasonal offerings. Throughout the month, guests can experience a patio wine tasting, live music, a Coastal Italian-inspired lu nch, a one-night-only Dessert Salon, and an opportunity to dine for a cause during The Big Give. Clementine is also introducing a new Ceviche of the Month featuring Carolina fluke.     CEVICHE OF THE MONTH   Clementine’s September Ceviche of the Month is a Carolina Fluke Crudo, featuring confit tomato and tomato juice, popcorn, chile oil, lemon and basil. The seasonal dish will be available throughout the month as part of Clementine’s rotating menu. ​LIVE MUSIC EVENING AT CLEMENTINE Each month, on the third Thursday, Clementine comes alive with raw oysters shucked to order, wine flowing throughout the evening, and live music from local musician Chris Guerrero. With no cover charge, this event happening on Thursday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. offers an easygoing midweek gathering where guests can come early, stay late, and enjoy great food, live entertainment, and Clementine’s welcoming neighborhood atmosphere. COASTAL ITALIAN-THEMED THIRD FRIDAY LUNCH Clementine’s monthly Friday lunch heads to the Italian coast in September with a four-course Coastal Italian menu served on Friday, September 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can choose among dishes including Vitello Tonnato; fennel, blood orange and mackerel salad; Busiate con Pesto Trapanese with tomato, pistachio, garlic and basil; Linguine alle Vongole with Manila clams; lemon risotto with calamari; and roasted branzino with cherry tomatoes and Castelvetrano olives. Dessert selections include tiramisu and ricotta beignets with limoncello anglaise. Guests can make reservations on Clementine’s website here. THE BIG GIVE DINNER On Wednesday, September 23 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Clementine will donate a portion of dinner sales to Great Hearts Monte Vista as part of The Big Give, San Antonio’s 24-hour celebration of nonprofit giving. The cause is especially meaningful to chefs John and Elise Russ, whose two children attend Great Hearts Monte Vista. Guests are invited to join Clementine for dinner and help support a school community that is close to the Russ family. Whether joining with family, for a date night, or with a group of friends, a portion of each dinner will go directly back to Great Hearts Monte Vista. DESSERT SALON On Wednesday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m., Clementine Pastry Chef Elise Russ will host an intimate Dessert Salon featuring a progression of savory bites, plated desserts and wine pairings. The evening will begin with gougères and Champagne, followed by a three-year-aged Gouda course from Chef John Russ and a verjus soda and lemon sorbet palate cleanser. Pastry Chef Elise Russ will then guide guests through a series of desserts including a coconut, passion fruit and vanilla bean verrine paired with ice wine; honey cheesecake with sour cream ice cream and apricot; and chocolate crémeux with coffee semifreddo and hazelnut nougatine. The experience will conclude with mignardises.
