INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man found shot near a subdivision off Mitthoefer Road on Indy’s east side late Wednesday night has died from his injuries, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Officers received a report of a person shot near the intersection of South Mitth oefer Road and Bucktail Boulevard, between U.S. 40 and East Prospect Street, around 11 p.m. There, they found the man suffering a gunshot wound. IMPD initially reported the man’s condition as critical, but stable, though he died shortly after arriving at the hospital. It’s not clear what led up to the shooting or if there are any suspects.
