RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Public Library has announced it will soon be accepting book donations that will also benefit donors. The "Friends of the Library Book Drive" will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Richmond Public Library Main. The event welcomes all age g roups to donate any used hardbacks, paperbacks, CDs and DVDs, along with books in clean, dry condition. Donors will receive a tax reduction when they donate these items, which can be dropped off behind the library at the rear entrance, according to the website.
