Montana Highway Patrol says the suspect vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run in Billings has been located, and one suspect has been taken into custody.Troopers said the suspects involved have been identified. The investigati on remains ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.The crash happened around 2 a.m. Thursday on Broadwater Avenue. The highway patrol says 31-year-old Elijah Ward's Ford F-150 collided with a Billings police car. Ward was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his truck onto Broadwater Avenue. A white Dodge Ram then ran him over. That driver fled the scene.Troopers later confirmed Ward died from injuries sustained in the crash.Investigators had been collecting Ring camera footage from the area and were looking for a 2019-2023 Dodge Ram 2500.Ward's mother, Viola Rodriguez, said her son had recently moved to Billings from Colorado to start a new position as a manager at a construction engineering and manufacturing company.
