Four teens have been detained after an alleged road-rage shooting and pursuit in Fort Worth on Sunday afternoon. The incident started out of road rage and with one driver following the other toward their house. The teen suspects then shot toward the family that was outside of the house. Office rs responded to a shooting call in the 3400 block of Thannisch Ave at 1:34 p.m. Upon arrival, officials learned that one person had already been transported to a local hospital in a private vehicle. It was later learned that the person’s injuries were caused by glass near a front door that was struck by the gunfire. Fort Worth Police Department’s Real Time Crime Center was able to get a vehicle description and put that information into FLOCK. A return came back and officers were able to locate the vehicle. Authorities attempted to stop the vehicle, but it began to evade officers. A pursuit was initiated. Officers saw at least one weapon being thrown from the suspect vehicle during the pursuit. The pursuit ended near the 1900 block of Handley Ederville Rd. Two guns were found inside the vehicle.
