RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car while riding an electric scooter in downtown Richmond on Sunday morning. According to Richmond Police, the man was riding an electric scooter and was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of N. 5th and E. Broad Streets at about 8:43 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6.
