A stabbing suspect was taken into custody after allegedly trying to run away from law enforcement by entering the water near Baker Beach, police said. Police said officers responded at around 11:13 a.m. to the 100 block of Yacht Road regarding a stabbing. There, authorities said they found a p erson with an apparent stab wound. The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the suspect ran away and jumped into the water near Baker Beach.
